Alma Del Rio is often described as 'Glamping' as it is very open to the environment as we made sure to let nature into the house. While we cannot have AC due to this design, passive cooling techniques keep the house's temperature comfortable throughout the year.
Artfully Crafted With Love
In creation of our beloved eco-homes we were inspired by the traditional Maya building. We used mostly local materials and building techniques. Each house is built from over 10 different species of local lumber.
